Recently Toshiba unveils new line up of its Excite Tabs in three variants, i.e. 7.7inch, 10.1inch & 13.3-inch. Common features in all these 3 tablets are their processors NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor running on Android 4.0 ICS with 1GB of RAM. All 3 tabs feature a 2-megapixel front facing camera and 5-megaixel rear camera with LED flash. In rest of features, they differ from each other. Lets have a look on them:
Toshiba Excite 7.7: A Brilliant AMOLED Display:The Excite 7.7 tablet, with its brilliant 1280×800 AMOLED display is the first tablet to feature an AMOLED from Toshiba that offers brilliant experience of games, movies, books and photos with rich colors, deep contrast and amazing sharpness.. It comes with 2 variants, 16 GB and 32 GB that costs $499.99 and $579.99 respectively. The tablet is 7.6mm thin and weighs a meager 380 grams and contains a microUSB port and a microSD card slot for external memory. This is also said to be strong competitor for Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. The launched date of this device is expected somewhere around in June 2012.
Excite 10: A Smart Tab packed with Speed and Durability:Unlike Excite 7.7, The Excite 10 Inch comes in three variants that are: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The price set for these devices are $449.99 , $529.99 and $649.99 respectively. This tab features an AutoBrite LED Backlit display offering 1280×800 resolution. Excite 10 is just 8.9mm thin and weighs just 600 grams. Its been said that the device will offer upto 10 hours of battery life with seven days of stand-by. Powered by GeForce graphicsvi and 1GB of RAMvii, Excite 10 gives capability for next generation gaming along with easy syncing and sharing options with its built-in Micro USB ports, Micro HDMI and full-size SD card slot for External memory. The device is expected to launched somewhere in May 2012.
Excite 13: Large Screen for doing moreSimilar to Excite 7.7, The Excite 13 will available in 2 models costing $649.99 for the 32GB and $749.99 for the 64GB model. It is the Big Daddy of Excite family with its huge 13.3-inch AutoBrite LED IPS display with an impressive 1600 x 900 resolution at 16:9 aspect ratio. It offers 10-finger touch support. Measuring just 0.4-inches thin and merely 2.2 pounds in weight, it offers a great experience for sharing photos, web browsing, Video Games, or watching HD movies. Users will get a great sound experience as well with this Tab due to its four-speaker sound system enhanced by Toshiba and SRS Labs. Similar to Excite 10, this also features a built-in Micro USB ports, Micro HDMI and full-size SD card slot and offers untouched 13 hours battery life with 7 days stand by. The Excite 13 will launch in June 2012.
