Tom Clancy The division 2 is a new release of Ubisoft. The game is developed by Massive Entertainment. The sequel of the game is launched today, March 15th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is basically an action role-playing shooting game and direct sequel to its peer The Division. The game depicts a civil war in Washington D.C. The Sequel shows a fight between the survivors and marauders. It allows you to play in a campaign, co-op, and PvP modes and is packed with action, thriller, and entertainment.
Since it is one of the most popular Action game, fans seems very much interested in it, like I do. However, being a heavy game, you may face some glitches and error, which is so disturbing. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 – Patch Data Error (Oscar-03) Error
Luckily i didn’t encountered this error so far, but there have been many users who have reported they come across the following error while playing The Division 2:
“An error has occurred while downloading new patch data. Please check your network settings and try again.OSCAR-03”
There is no official workaround for the same, but few guys have been successful to fix it by changing some settings in their routers. Yes, this is connectivity issue. Here’s is what you can try out to fix it:
- Log in to your Router, go to Settings and enable UPnP (Universal Plug and Play).
- This has to be usually under Advanced Settings. In my Netgear, it is located at Advanced > Advanced Setup > UPnP.
- Now Forward Ports listed here at official Ubisoft forums.
- Close the router page.
- Now to Start Menu and type CMD
- Type /ipconfig flushdns to flush out the DNS
- Restart the game.
Everything should work fine.
Tom Clancy the Division 2 is unable to install
If you’re facing the same problem in your device, let’s make sure to turn off the antivirus and all securing application in your system. Usually, the work of this software is to prevent new installation in your device. Try to install the game after successfully disabling the software. Once it is installed, you can enable your antivirus again.
The thing which you have to keep in mind is that your antivirus must be updated to the latest version. If it’s not making sure to download it from the official website. If there is a no sound in a game, to fix this you have to start the DxDiag. To launch it type DxDiag in a search box, then DirectX window will appear then after that click on sound and lower the sound acceleration.
Other than this you can also update the driver, you can download the updated version of the driver from the official website. You can also check hardware and sound in the control panel.
