Here Is How You Can Enable Dark Mode On Your Smartphone

No more torture to your eyes and battery, make your smartphones ‘eyes-friendly’ by enabling dark mode!! You may have already known about the dark mode as it is getting very popular these days. Basically, Dark Mode switches off the colour scheme of the device and makes it black, which puts lesser stress to the eyes of user. Moreover, it also saves some battery life.

These days, a number of applications have got the dark mode feature and with its third Beta of Android Q, Google has added a system-wide dark theme to a number of smartphones. We have already heard of dark mode feature in the latest smartphones that runs on customised Android version. But unfortunately, it is not available for all at this moment.

For the smartphones and devices that do not have the dark mode/theme feature, you can still experience it by using some third party app like Nova launcher. In this article, we are telling you how you can enable the dark mode on your Android phones or iPhone. So, check it out!!

How to enable Dark Mode on iPhone

As you may already know, iPhone doesn’t support Dark Mode. But fortunately, iOS 12 has a smart colour inverter which works similar as the dark mode and does the job for the similar effects. It actually reverses the colours of the display, except for images, media and some apps that use dark colour styles.

Moreover, the iOS colour inverter works pretty well on the Pre-installed iPhone apps and the other apps that support the dark mode feature. Apps that support Dark Mode on iOS include YouTube, Twitter, Facebook Messenger, Slack, and Microsoft Outlook.

  • Go to Settings.
  • Select General and then go to Accessibility.
  • Tap on Display Accommodations and then select Invert Colours.

  • Firstly, make sure your phone has the Android Q third beta update. If not then upgrade to Android Q third beta update.
  • Go to Quick Settings from the top of display.
  • Simply turn on the icon you see at the top of display.
  • If you don’t find the icon, then click on the pencil icon.
  • Enable the dark theme.

That’s it!! You’re done here. Now, you can enable it to give some relief to your eyes and also save some battery life.
