Micromax Canvas Fire 5 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow launched at Rs. 6199

Its been over a year since Micromax launched Canvas Fire 4. Now, they have launched its successor, named Micromax Canvas Fire 5. Being successor the phone comes with latest software, upgraded hardware, but it still lacks 4G LTE connectivity. We will talk about its feature below later, as per the availability and pricing, the new Micromax Canvas Fire 5 is now available at the price of just Rs. 6,199 that includes absolutely free 6 months premium Gaana subscription allowing you to download unlimited songs. Users can avail the phone in three color choices, which are Champagne, Grey and Silver.

Micromax Canvas Fire 5 comes out of the box running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and supports Dual SIM cards. It also has dual front speakers with Auro 3D sound offering you loud and clear sound. The phone features a 5.5 inch HD display offering 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Micromax has powered it up with 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor accompanied by 1GB DDR RAM making the phone quite good in performance. As per storage, it has 16GB internal memory supporting expandable microSD card up to 64GB.

For photographers. the Canvas Fire 5 carries an 8 Megapixel rear camera with Auto focus and LED Flash, while at the front facing we get a 5 Megapixel shooter with LED flash of its own offering brighter Selfies in low light as well. It supports 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The phone is running on 2500mAh battery.
